Dr Mohammad Faisal elaborated that Wells’ aim for the meeting will be to strengthen bilateral relations. The meeting will further the previous talks between Foreign Minister, Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Secretary of State, Michael Pompeo.

The talks between the Qureshi and Pompeo had been regarding the situation in Afghanistan. Pakistan’s stance insists that the Afghanistan issue had no military solution; stability in the region can only come from peace.
